Dana and Bobbie built what is, hands down, our best decoration ever: a ghostly pirate ship emerging from and above the garage! It had two masts with sails and a pirate flag, rigging and cannons. The front was adorned with a skeleton mermaid, another skeleton sat in the crow's nest, and with hands slowly turning the wheel, the captain floated in mid-air, fluttering in the wind of a fan (that also powered his turning arms) and lit with black lights.
The courtyard in front of the ship hosted the ever-popular Giant Jenga. We also had a small gas-fueled fire-pit, which became a focal point towards the end, as the party drifted slowly to four in the morning.
