Gargoyles sat atop the entrance, although the "Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here" sign was destroyed by the winds. Constructed quickly on the day of the party by Rowland, D.J. and Quartermile, this had a variety of spooky things large and small that Dana had hung from the eaves of the house, but the black lights never got put in place to complete the look. It still served well as an entryway, and kept people off the expensive turf of the front lawn.
One group of party-goers had a van parked in the driveway, and distributed Jaeger Bombs to a select few for a good portion of the night.
