This was the "kick-back room" and fulfilled that duty perfectly. With a couch in front of the
fireplace, and two beds for resting on, it let those who wanted a little quiet or light conversation a
place to relax. We had tapes continuously going of The Simpson's Halloween Specials and
Scooby-Doo.
Robin had put on her vanity a book on the making of Psycho next to a razor,
toothbrush, and a bar of soap with a bloody hand-print. Against the far wall she put a piece of
drywall with a pentagram painted on it, and behind each point was glued a cup of corn syrup and
grenadine, so that the wall spent all night slowly bleeding.
Off and on from ten until two, Jesse was doing Tarot readings, taking up the slack for Rowland, who had ended up as DJ, in spite of the original plan to stay in the maze.
